Hal ini tentunya menjadi kabar gembira dan kebanggaan bagi masyarakat Nusa Tenggara Barat. Pada laman resmi Biro Humas Provinsi NTB, Kamis, 16 Juni 2016 disebutkan, Provinsi NTB merupakan salah satu daerah yang memiliki pertumbuhan IPM tertinggi pada tahun 2015. Prestasi tersebut menempatkan NTB sebagai TOP MOVER pertumbuhan IPM pada 2015, mengalahkan seluruh daerah lain di Indonesia. Meningkatnya pertumbuhan Pembangunan manusia di Provinsi NTB tahun 2015 ini ditandai dengan terus meningkatnya IPM dari 64,31 di tahun 2014 menjadi 65,19 pada tahun 2015 atau meningkat 1,36 persen di atas pertumbuhan IPM Nasional yang tumbuh sebesar 0,4 persen.
